Contacting a counsellor can be a challenging thought but the process is so much easier than you think.
You can simply contact me via the form below. I will email you back and we can arrange a time for a free 15-minute chat to talk about what it is you’re looking for. From there, if you’re happy to continue, we will book in an assessment session to find out if I am the right counsellor for you. The therapeutic relationship is part of the work, so you need to feel comfortable and safe to share what is on your mind.
Whether you are in a heterosexual, gay, bi/pansexual or transgender relationship counselling can help you. I provide a contained space to allow you to talk about some of the common difficulties that you may be facing. Together, with clearer communication we can discover both your needs within the relationship and the possibility of change.
Counselling is a talking therapy. This means in our work together I provide a space for you to share your concerns, in a safe environment without judgement. In this space you learn to listen to yourself and find ways to overcome difficulties. We explore support available around you, as well as within yourself. Learning the importance of self-care is a positive step in the right direction.
I am specially trained to work with young people. Counselling can help with many challenges such as overcoming or managing difficulties within family or peer relationships, anxiety, low mood, exam stress, exploring sexuality and gender. Counselling is about helping you to gain a clearer understanding of yourself and enabling you to communicate this to others.
